Privacy statement – how we may collect, store and use your personal data.
Introduction
This page sets out the privacy policy of the EIPC BV, and explains how we use your personal data (meaning any information about you which is personally identifiable, such as your name, address, telephone number or email address).
By providing us with your personal data you acknowledge your acceptance of the provisions in our privacy policy. Any changes to our privacy policy will be made on this page. How we may collect data
We may collect your data in a number of ways that include:
- data you provide by completing forms on our website
- data you provide completing enquiry forms at seminars, exhibitions, etc.
- if you contact us in writing, by email or other electronic means, we may keep a record of that correspondence
- if you contact us by telephone and provide us with personal data
- if you authorize a third-party to transmit your personal data to us.
How we may use your personal data
Your personal data will be treated in accordance with The Data Protection by Law of May 16 2018, PbEU 2016, L 119 General Data protection and the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We may collect personal data about you in order to:
- allow you to participate in registration-only features of our website and to download certain content
- provide you with information that you request from us
- provide you with information which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes
- enable us to contact you in relation to products or services which we have supplied to you.

Will we share your personal data with third parties?
We may share your personal data with EIPC BV’s partner trade associations such as the FED and the WECC some of these may be outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”).
We will not otherwise share your personal data unless we are under a duty to disclose or share it in order to comply with any legal obligation or in order to enforce or apply our Terms & Conditions of use and other agreements or to protect the rights, property, or safety of EIPC BV.
Cookies and IP addresses
If you access our website we may collect information about your computer, including, where available, your IP address, operating system and browser type for system administration purposes. These are statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns and does not identify you as an individual. We reserve the right to use cookies from time to time for the purpose of improving our customer experience. These are not used to track identifiable personal data.
Electronic communications
If you provide us with personal data over the Internet, you should be aware that data transmission via this medium cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we will take all reasonable efforts to protect such personal data, you acknowledge that we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any personal data provided by these means and you provide it to us at your own risk.
Once received, we have appropriate procedures covering the storage and disclosure of personal data in order to prevent unauthorized access and to comply with The Data Protection by Law of May 16 2018, PbEU 2016, L 119 General Data protection and the GDPR.
If, despite our security precautions, personal data is inadvertently disclosed, we shall make all reasonable efforts to limit and remedy the disclosure but, to the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for unintentional disclosure of personal data.
Right to access your personal data
We want to make sure that your personal data is accurate and up to date. You have the right to request a copy of your personal data and may ask us to correct personal data that is inaccurate.
Right to have your personal data erased
Under certain conditions, as detailed in Article 17 of the GDPR, you have the right to ask us to erase your data by contacting the address below.
