Polar April news: Two new appnote videos – and upcoming Monte-Carlo enhancement
I am delighted to share two new videos. The first shows how to use the projects option to automatically graph a variety of insertion loss simulations from a sensitivity analysis: www.youtube.com/watch?v=
The second is a brief “how to” explaining how to use the newly released Toneohm 950A to locate trace, leakage and Power plane shorts. The Toneohm 950A is the latest in a long line of Toneohms which date back almost 50 years. It is just in time for Polar’s 50th anniversary

Both videos are also available on the Polar website should you not have YouTube access at work.

Up soon is an enhanced Monte Carlo feature in the Si9000e / Si8000m which allows you to constrain the trace pitch – this at the request of several Si9000e customers.
P.S. CGen Impedance & Insertion loss coupon generator V25_02 is shipping with a number of requested fixes and enhancements.
